May 6, 2020 – At the start of the 9th week of the COVID-19 in Bulacan, there are 127 COVID cases, 38 recovered patients, and 26 deaths
- Duterte issues an Executive Order on the Balik-Probinsya program
- Uproar as the Philippines allows Chinese Online Gaming Centers to reopen. The Philippine Offshore Gaming Operators or POGOs are online gambling firms that operate in the Philippines but cater to customers outside the country. To operate legally, they must be licensed by the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR).
- LTO extends expired licenses’ validity 2 months after lockdown
May 7, 2020 – Bulacan readies 1,428 swab testing kits worth P5 million to be used for mass testing of suspected, probable, and medical front liners in the province.
- Malacañang addressed criticism that the government allowed the online gambling business to resume, but ordered the closure of media giant ABS-CBN amid the COVID-19 crisis.
May 8, 2020 – The Provincial Epidemiology and Surveillance Unit (PESU) of PHO Bulacan will be conducting data harmonization with Central Luzon Center for Health Development- Regional Epidemiology and Surveillance Unit (CLCHD-RESU) in 2 days.
May 9, 2020 – Bulacan Provincial Government turnovers relief goods to Angat
- DepEd says public, private schools to reopen on August 24.
- The Land Transportation Office will extend the validity of vehicle registrations, as well as licenses and permits under their jurisdiction, for 60 days upon the resumption of work, after the easing of the COVID-19 lockdown.
May 10, 2020 – Coronavirus cases in PH climb to 10,794, with 719 deaths
May 11, 2020 – The Philippines expects to receive 400,000 metric tons of rice from Vietnam, which reaffirmed its commitment to resume rice exports to Southeast Asian countries.
May 12, 2020 – The 9th week of COVID-19 in Bulacan ended with 138 COVID Cases, 45 recoveries, and 27 deaths.
- The lack of personal protective equipment is still a challenge faced by the country’s medical frontliners in their fight against COVID-19, according to the Philippine Nurses Association.
- The National Bureau of Investigation arrested a teacher over his post offering a reward for killing President Rodrigo Duterte.

May 6, 2020 – 127 COVID-19 Cases, 38 Recovered Patients, & 26 Deaths
Bulacan Provincial Health Office reports 4 new confirmed cases, 3 additional recoveries, and 0 death. The 4 new cases are from the towns of Malolos City, Bulakan, San Ildefonso, and City of San Jose Del Monte. The 3 new recoveries are from the towns of (2) Marilao and (1) Bulakan. This brings the total to 127 confirmed cases, 38 recoveries, and 26 deaths.
The City of San Jose Del Monte is still at the top with 20 cases. Malolos City followed next with 17 cases. Marilao is in 3rd place with 14 cases. In 4th place is Bocaue with 12 cases. The case distribution per town/municipality or city can be found in the table below:

Bulacan Provincial Health Office reports 1 new confirmed cases, 2 additional recoveries, and 0 death. The new case is from the town of Bulakan. The 2 new recoveries are from the towns of San Jose Del Monte City and Bulakan. This brings the total to 128 confirmed cases, 40 recoveries, and 26 deaths.
The City of San Jose Del Monte is still at the top with 20 cases. Malolos City followed next with 17 cases. Marilao is in 3rd place with 14 cases. In 4th place is Bocaue with 12 cases. The case distribution per town/municipality or city can be found in the table below:
May 8 – 10, 2020 – Bulacan PHO System is Upgraded. No Case Update.
The Provincial Epidemiology and Surveillance Unit (PESU) of PHO Bulacan will be conducting data harmonization with Central Luzon Center for Health Development- Regional Epidemiology and Surveillance Unit (CLCHD-RESU) in 2 days.
They also launched a new website from tracking Bulacan COVID cases www.bulacancovid19.ph
May 11, 2020 – 131 COVID-19 Cases, 42 Recovered Patients, & 27 Deaths
The Bulacan Provincial Health Office upgraded its system for better COVID-19 tracking. As of today, PHO reports 131confirmed cases, 42 recovered patients, and 27 deaths.
The City of San Jose Del Monte is still at the top with 20 cases. Malolos City followed next with 17 cases. Marilao is in 3rd place with 15 cases. In 4th place is Bocaue with 11 cases. The case distribution per town/municipality or city can be found in the table below:
May 12, 2020 – 138 COVID-19 Cases, 45 Recovered Patients, & 27 Deaths
The Bulacan Provincial Health Office reported 138 confirmed cases, 45 recovered patients, and 27 deaths.
The new graphic report from PHO no longer includes the information on which town the new case comes from. However, that information is available in the Bulacan Covid-19 Updates website’s map view data.
There are 7 new reported cases coming from various towns of Bulacan. The good news is that there are 3 newly recovered patients coming from the towns of Malolos City, Calumpit, and San Ildefonso.
The City of San Jose Del Monte is still at the top with 21 cases. Malolos City followed next with 17 cases. Marilao is in 3rd place with 15 cases. The towns of Bocaue, Baliuag, and Sta. Maria is in 4th place with 11 cases each. The case distribution per town/municipality or city can be found in the table below:
