11th Week Summary — COVID-19 in Bulacan: May 20 to May 26

May 20, 2020 – At the start of the 11th week of the battle vs. COVID-19 in Bulacan, there are 158 COVID-19 Cases, 57 recovered patients, and 30 deaths in the province.

  • Police raid underground Chinese coronavirus hospital operating illegally in a villa inside Fontana Leisure Park inside the Clark Freeport Zone Pampanga
  • The Department of Health said that the country is already on the second wave of COVID-19 cases.
  • The number of coronavirus disease 2019 cases in the country has breached the 13,000 marks and is now at 13,221.
  • For the first time, a Philippine Navy vessel was able to properly dock at Pag-asa Island in the West Philippine Sea, where the government is building a port and beaching ramp.
  • Dominguez counters Marcos with history to debunk Masagana 99 ‘success’

May 21, 2020 – Two prisoners, who bolted the Bulacan Provincial Jail last April 3, were re-captured by personnel of the Apalit Municipal Police Office (MPO), and the Provincial Intelligence Branch of Pampanga and Bulacan.

May 26, 2020 – The 11th week ended with 175 COVID cases, 81 recoveries, and 31 deaths in the province.

The Bulacan Provincial Health Office reported six (6) new confirmed cases today from the towns of (2) City of San Jose Del Monte, (1) Marilao, (1) Guiguinto, (1) San Rafael, and (1) Angat. The total now is at 158 confirmed cases, 57 recovered patients, and 30 deaths.

The City of San Jose Del Monte is still at the top with 25 cases. Marilao followed next with 19 cases. Malolos City is in 3rd place with 18 cases. Baliuag is in 4th place with 15 cases. The town of Bocaue is in 5th place with 12 cases.

May 21, 2020 – 164 COVID-19 Cases, 64 Recovered Patients, & 30 Deaths

The Bulacan Provincial Health Office reported six (6) new confirmed cases and six (6) recoveries. The total now is at 164 confirmed cases, 64 recovered patients, and 30 deaths.

The City of San Jose Del Monte is still at the top with 25 cases. Marilao followed next with 19 cases. Malolos City is in 3rd place with 18 cases. Baliuag is in 4th place with 16 cases. The town of Bocaue is in 5th place with 12 cases.

May 22 – 165 COVID-19 Cases, 68 Recovered Patients, & 30 Deaths

The Bulacan Provincial Health Office reported a new confirmed case from the town of Santa Maria and four (4) new recoveries from the towns of (3) San Rafael and (1) Bulakan. The total now is at 165 confirmed cases, 68 recovered patients, and 30 deaths.

The Bulacan Provincial Health Office reported a new confirmed case from the town of Bustos, and 5 recovered patients from the towns of (4) City of San Jose Del Monte and (1) Meycauayan. The total now is at 166 confirmed cases, 73 recovered patients, and 30 deaths.

May 24, 2020 – 168 COVID-19 Cases, 74 Recovered Patients, & 30 Deaths

The Bulacan Provincial Health Office reported two (2) new confirmed cases from the towns of Guiguinto and Marilao, and 1 recovered patient from Balagtas. The total now is at 168 confirmed cases, 74 recovered patients, and 30 deaths.

The Bulacan Provincial Health Office reported six (6) new confirmed cases from the towns of (2) Norzagaray, (2) Meycauayan City, (1) San Rafael, and (1) City of San Jose Del Monte. They also reported (6) newly recovered patients from the towns of (5) Marilao and (1) Norzagaray. The total now is at 175 confirmed cases, 81 recovered patients, and 30 deaths.
